Under the new rules, coaches will be fined if they are found directing players to fake an injury. A first time offense carries a fine of $50,000, a second violation will result in a $100,000 fine, and if the problem persists to a third violation, coaches could face a suspension.
Ole Miss has been among the chief offenders as the broadcast pointed out an alarming statistic during their game against LSU last month.

It will be intereting to see if coaches heed the warning. The league recently doubled fines for fans storming the field, but that hasn’t deterred the behavior.
