Hilton, Frazier Headline Injury Report

LSU will head to Las Vegas mostly healthy for its season opener against USC.

Chris Hilton is officially as questionable with a bone bruise, according to Brian Kelly. Senior guard Miles Frazier is probable.

If Hilton is unable to play, redshirt freshman Kyle Parker could see increased role. In Frazier’s place, Tyree Adams, another redshirt freshman, would be called upon.

Kelly had previously announced four injuries to key players.  In addition to Hilton and Frazier, cornerback Sage Ryan has a slight hamstring pull. Linebacker West Weeks was dealing with a foot injury.

The Tigers have avoided the major injury bug which has bitten a number of SEC teams.  Texas and Texas A&M lost their starting running backs to season-ending injuries in fall camp.  Missouri lost edge rusher Darris Smith, a Georgia transfer, for the year with a knee injury.

Kelly added that no non-football absences are expected. The Tigers and Trojans kick off Sunday night at 6:30pm.
