Hilton, Womack, Allen Unavailable Versus South Carolina
09/14/2024
Chris Hilton, Da’Shawn Womack and Jordan Allen won’t play today according to LSU’s final availability report.
Hilton, a senior wide receiver, has not played this season after suffering a bone bruise late in fall camp. Womack missed last week’s game against Nicholls, and Allen was injured in the Nicholls game.
Sai’vion Jones and Bradyn Swinson will handle defensive end duties with Womack out. True freshman Gabriel Reliford should see time in a reserve role.
Head coach Brian Kelly said earlier this week that senior Sage Ryan would play safety full time moving forward. He’ll replace Allen in the secondary.
Kyle Parker replaced Hilton in the starting lineup versus USC but left the game with a UCL injury in the first half. Parker was not listed on the availability report, meaning he will be available.
LSU and South Carolina are scheduled for an 11:00 central kickoff on ABC.
