The NFL has added a long overdue award to its trophy case. Last week, the NFL announced they would finally show some love to the uglies up front by naming a Protector of the Year for the best offensive lineman.
Two New Orleans Saints have made the initial odds list with Erik McCoy and Taliese Fuaga both at 50/1.
Former LSU All-American Will Campbell is at 25/1.
The award will be chosen by six former offensive lineman including Jason Kelce and Andrew Whitworth based on a variety of metrics and criteria.
