The 24-year-old Lacy is accused of driving recklessly on the morning of December 17, causing a crash that killed 78-year-old Herman Hall. Louisiana State Police have released a report, detailing the incident.
WBRZ news spoke with attorney Digger Earles, who will represent Hall’s family in a civil lawsuit.
“I’ve cheered Kyren Lacy throughout his career, but it doesn’t change my position or change my job I have to do seeking justice for this family,” Earles said.
Lacy began his career at UL-Lafayette and played the past three seasons at LSU. He led the Tigers in receptions and receiving yards in 2024 and is expected to be selected in April’s NFL Draft.
