Lane Kiffin upset LSU gets night game against Alabama

Lane Kiffin had his Monday press conference and apparently he is already salty about a game two weeks from now. The Rebels travel to Fayetteville this weekend as a four-point favorite over Arkansas and are just 1-8 in their last nine trips to Fayetteville.
That didn’t stop Kiffin from creating a quote and sound byte that made its way all over social media almost instantly. The SEC announced Monday that Ole Miss and Georgia would be a part of a doubleheader on ABC and ESPN for November 9th along with the highly anticipated annual LSU-Alabama showdown in Baton Rouge.
“LSU gets to play at night again, I guess? Shocker,” Kiffin said. “That’s two for two them…I feel bad for our fans not having one night conference game.”
While Kiffin isn’t wrong about the lack of night games, it’s not like the Rebels helped themselves in securing a game under the lights in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium this season. Ole Miss is playing a strength of schedule that is currently ranked 68th in the country according to sports-reference.com. They’ve also lost two games this season that they were favored in against teams with a combined seven losses.
