LSU DB Wilson, son of coach, transferring to Grambling

Former LSU defensive back Frank “Quad” Wilson IV will remain in Louisiana and transfer to Grambling. He made the announcement on his Instagram account.

Wilson is the son of LSU Associate Head Coach and Running Backs Coach Frank Wilson.

The 5-foot-9, 167 pound Wilson spent his first two collegiate seasons at McNeese before spending the last two seasons at LSU. He saw action in just two games for the Tigers, but recorded a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown in the 2023 Citrus Bowl.

Wilson was born in New Orleans, but played high school football in San Antonio when his father was the coach at UTSA.

He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
