LSU favored to win CWS

After rallying to avoid a potentially stunning upset against Little Rock, LSU is now the betting favorite to win the College World Series. The Tigers are +350, followed by Arkansas (+400) and Tennessee (+500).
LSU will host West Virginia at Alex Box Stadium while the Razorbacks and Volunteers will meet in Fayetteville, Ark., this weekend.
The Tigers will take on West Virginia this weekend in the Super Regional round starting Saturday!

The Regionals round was intense as we witnessed the No. 1 overall seed, Vanderbilt bounced at the hands of Wright State. A total of seven regional hosts and tournament favorites including Texas, Georgia and Auburn were eliminated.
Entering the Regionals, Texas and Vanderbilt were tied with the third-best odds to win the College World Series while Georgia was fourth and Auburn was eighth.
The Cinderellas getting to dance at the Super Regionals ball are Murray State and UTSA. The Road Runners had 175/1 CWS odds last week, but Murray State was a whopping 350/1 longshot!
Coastal Carolina is the other mid-major in the field, but the Chanticleers had 25/1 odds going into the Regionals so they aren’t exactly an underdog.
