LSU guard Sheppard enters portal

Mjracle Sheppard is on the move again. The sophomore guard is leaving LSU after one season and entering the transfer portal. Talia Goodman of On3 was the first to report the news.
Sheppard transferred to LSU after spending her freshman season at Mississippi State. She played in 32 games for the Tigers, making two starts and averaging 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

As a freshman, Sheppard played in 35 games for the Bulldogs, starting once and averaging 5.0 points per game.
The 5-foot-10 guard was a four-star recruit and the No. 86 player in the country coming out of Montverde Academy in Florida.
Sheppard is the sixth Tiger to enter the portal in this cycle. On Monday, former five-star recruit Aalyah Del Rosario committed to Vanderbilt.
