Matt McMahon landed his first commitment for 2025 when Pennsylvania big man Matt Gilhool announced his pledge to the Tigers on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-10, 205 pound left-handed power forward is the top player in his state, the No. 71 overall player and the 14th best power forward according to the On3 Composite.
Gilhool visited LSU this past weekend and chose the Tigers over more than a dozen other schools including Alabama, Tennessee, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Mississippi State and others.
McMahon is set to begin his third season in Baton Rouge.
