BATON ROUGE, La. — Two more LSU reserves have entered the transfer portal. Catcher Blaise Priester and pitcher Dylan Thompson are both leaving the program. Neither player is on the postseason roster and both have already left the Tigers.
The pair will play this summer for the Baton Rouge Rougarou of the Texas Collegiate League.
Freshmen Ryan Costello and David Hogg II have reportedly entered the portal also.
Priester is a local product who prepped at Live Oak High School before redshirting with the Tigers in 2022. He played two seasons for Meridian (Miss.) Community College where he hit .377 with 14 homeruns in 2024. Priester saw action in 13 games with only seven at bats and did not record a hit.
Thompson only appeared in one game for LSU in 2025. The Moss Bluff, LA., native came to Baton Rouge as a two-way player.
