LSU to debut gold jerseys against Vanderbilt

LSU will debut a new look Saturday night.
The team’s official twitter account revealed a new gold jersey that the team will don versus Vanderbilt. This will mark the fifth time in 11 games that the Tigers have deviated from the traditional gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants.

LSU wore purple jerseys against UCLA and then wore white pants with the traditional white jerseys and gold helmets against South Alabama. In road games at Arkansas and Texas A&M, LSU went with all white ensembles. Saturday, it’s gold.
The Tigers have worn gold jerseys in the past in games including the 2016 game against Mississippi State. LSU and Vanderbilt will kick off at 6:45.
