LSU-UCLA Set for Afternoon Start

LSU and UCLA will kick off their September 21 matchup at either 2:30 or 3:15pm central time, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
When kickoff times were released over the summer, the game was flexed between 2:30 and 7:00. In its first ever trip to Baton Rouge, UCLA will not experience a Saturday Night in Death Valley.
The matchup is the second leg of a home and home. The Tigers and Bruins faced off in the 2021 season opener, a game UCLA won handily, 38-27, in the Rose Bowl.
The Bruins are 1-0 in head coach DeShaun Foster’s first season at the helm. They defeated Hawaii in the season opener, 16-13. This Saturday UCLA will play its first conference game as a member of the Big 10 as they travel to Indiana.
LSU begins SEC play this week with a trip to South Carolina.
