LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson shut down due to injury

BATON ROUGE, La. — Kim Mulkey confirmed Sunday that LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson will not play again until the NCAA Tournament as she heals from shin inflammation. Mulkey made the announcement during her pregame radio interview before Sunday’s game against Ole Miss.

Johnson leads LSU in scoring at 18.9 points per game and had started all 30 games for the Tigers before Sunday.
The SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament begins Wednesday in Greenville, South Carolina. LSU is currently projected as a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers are 27-3 (12-3).
