The road to the top of SEC standings for Texas A&M hasn’t necessarily been easy, and the path to staying there won’t be any easier as they travel to South Carolina this weekend.

Ahead of the Saturday night primetime showdown, Aggie head coach Mike Elko addressed the massive elephant in the room in College Station–his quarterback room.

“Yeah, I think the possibility is there for a lot of things,” Elko told reporters on Monday. “I think we’re going to look at this week, figure out what we think the right thing is for us, what we think gives us the best chance to win moving forward. It’s probably too early in our minds to make that decision. Even if we did, we probably wouldn’t tell you right now anyway. But no, I think we just want to see how this week plays out, see what we think gives us the best shot to go into this environment and be successful, and then go forward from there.”

Reed came in off the bench Saturday against LSU and led Texas A&M to five straight scoring drives while totaling 11 plays on the ground and through the air for 132 yards and three scores.

On the season he has 11 total touchdowns without an interception in five games.

Texas A&M travels to Williams-Brice Stadium to take on South Carolina this Saturday at 6:30 PM CST.
