More top 5 recognition came LSU’s way on Tuesday.
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association tabbed the Tigers No. 4 in their preseason poll. The Tigers were one of nine SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 including five of the top 10.
Texas A&M claimed the top spot followed by Tennessee and Virginia in front of LSU.
The Tigers open the season Friday, February 14 at Alex Box Stadium against visiting Purdue Fort Wayne.
