Netflix announces SEC football series

Netflix has announced production of a new series documenting the 2024 SEC football season. There will be eight 45-minute episodes with a scheduled release in summer of 2025.

The series will be produced by by Box To Box Films, the company that has produced other series such as Sprint, Full Swing, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, and Break Point.
“This behind-the-scenes docuseries will bring all the drama and pageantry of Southeastern Conference Football to a worldwide Netflix audience,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey told Netflix.
The 2024 season saw an expanded SEC welcome Texas and Oklahoma to the new 16-team league. The Longhorns, Georgia and Tennessee have earned berths in the new 12-team College Football Playoff, which gets underway this weekend.
