Like I say every week, politicians may lie, the number on my driver’s license next to “Weight” may lie, but numbers never do. Despite what Big Ten fans will tell you, we have a great week of games in the SEC. So, without further adieu, here are the Numbers to Know for Week 12 in the SEC!
5: Missouri has beaten South Carolina five years in a row.
6: LSU has beaten Florida in six of the last seven seasons. They’ve also covered the spread in five of those seven.
17-4-1: Road underdogs are 17-4-1 this season in the SEC which is the best mark in the conference through Week 11 since 1990.
25.7: Kirby Smart has held Josh Heupel’s Tennessee teams to an average of 25.7 points per game less than their season averages over the last three years.
40: Tennessee has scored 40 points or more in 23 of 48 games under Josh Heupel.
40: Georgia has held Tennessee to 40 total points in three games in the Josh Heupel era.
1: One game separates the all-time series record for LSU and Florida. LSU leads the series 34-33-3.
7: Seven of the last 10 games between LSU and Florida have been decided by one score.
.500: LSU is 7-7 in regular season games on the road or at a neutral site under Brian Kelly.

0-5: Tennessee is 0-5 against the spread in the first half in their last 5 games.
2: Texas is 2-5 in their last seven games overall against Texas dating back to 1991.
4-1: Sam Pittman is 4-1 against the spread off a bye week. However, his one loss came this year by 24 points when the Hogs were a three-point home underdog to LSU.
