Pavia launches podcast in wake of upset win

Diego Pavia has become a cult hero and fan favorite in Nashville, and his popularity skyrocketed after last week’s historic upset over No. 1 Alabama. Pavia enjoyed several days this week with national media requests and interviews to talk about the, 40-35, win. Now, Pavia is cashing in on his newfound fame by launching his own podcast.

Pavia announced the move on Twitter earlier this week by dropping the first episode of his new “Air it out show.” Pavia’s first show featured several of his teammates including Eli Stowers and CJ Taylor as they shared locker room stories and insight to Saturday’s upset.

Pavia’s story continues to capture college football fans everywhere, and he’s slowly becoming the poster child for how NIL should work. In just 72 hours after the win, he saw his NIL valuation increase from $368,000 to $711,000. A senior transfer from New Mexico State who came to play with the big boys in the SEC, and within a month he cemented his name in the history books.
