Poll Position: Week 2

There wasn’t much movement in the college baseball polls after a weekend of action.

Many of America’s top teams handled their business against inferior competition. LSU was certainly no exception, sweeping Purdue Fort Wayne by a combined score of 32-2.

D1Baseball left the Tigers at No. 3 in their poll, right behind top-ranked Texas A&M and Viginia who dropped an extra-inning game to Michigan on Friday in Puerto Rico.

Baseball America still has the Tigers ranked second behind the Aggies who swept Elon in College Station.

LSU will play a pair of midweek games this week beginning with a home game Tuesday against Southern. Wednesday the Tigers will travel to Nicholls.
