Report: Freeze did not travel with Auburn to Kentucky

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze is reportedly battling an illness and had to travel separately from the team on their trip to Lexington to play Kentucky Saturday night. He is, however, expected to coach the team when they kick off at Kroger Field.
Freeze reportedly got food poisoning. Pete Thamel reported the news this morning on College Gameday and posted this to X as well.

Auburn has owned the series against the Wildcats, winning 18 of their last 19 against Kentucky with their last loss in Lexington coming in 1966. However, the two teams have met only twice since 2011.
