Report: Saints OC Klint Kubiak drawing interest from multiple teams
By Ross Jackson
It immediately became a possibility that New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak could be one-and-done in New Orleans once the team’s head coaching position opened.
Kubiak’s quick departure wouldn’t be reflective of his talents or play calling rather a reflection of the throes of the NFL. With the Saints looking for a new head coach, other teams are now considering whether Kubiak might become available. That much is clear, as two teams have already requested to interview him for their open offensive coordinator positions.
The Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks have both reportedly asked for permission to interview the 37-year-old.
The Browns, in particular, have been connected to Kubiak quite a bit this offseason. Apparently, the organization and head coach Kevin Stefanski love the system and want to implement it in Cleveland.
A name to keep an eye on as the Browns look for a new offensive coordinator: Saints OC Klint Kubiak. He’s still under contract with New Orleans, but Cleveland could certainly make a bid to get him out of there, with the Saints coaching search ongoing.

If New Orleans hires an offensive play-caller as its next head coach, it would open things up for Kubiak to land elsewhere. he Saints have sent interview requests to Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, and Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.
The team has also finished its virtual interview with New York Giants offensive coordinator and assistant head coach Mike Kafka. However, Kafka did not call plays last season.
