The senior was a safety blanket for Garrett Nussmeier at times. His 42 receptions for 480 yards are fourth on the team. He is considered LSU’s best blocking receiver and his 91.4 Drop grade from Pro Football Focus leads the team.
Daniels came to LSU in 2024 from Liberty, where he spent four seasons. He has one season of eligibility remaining due to the 202 COVID year and an injury in 2022 that cost him all but three games.
Brian Kelly recently suggested Daniels could return to LSU next season. “We’re just excited about having him with us,” Kelly said. “And all indications are he’s gonna be back next year.”
Instead, Daniels will likely play his final season at his third school.
