Safety Harris leaving Saints for Commanders
03/11/2025

The Saints have lost another defensive back in free agency. A day after cornerback Paulson Adebo agreed to a contract with the New York Giants, safety Will Harris is headed to the Washington Commanders, according to Mike Garafolo.
The 29-year-old Harris agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal.
Harris spent just one season in New Orleans, signing a one-year deal with the team last May. He started all 13 games in which he played, notching 74 tackles, three tackles for loss and an interception.
Washington will be Harris’s third stop in a career that began as a third round pick of the Lions in 2019.
The Saints return veteran safety Tyrann Mathieu, former fifth round pick Jordan Howden and special teams ace JT Gray.
