Saints 2025 opponents are set

By Ross Jackson
While the dates and times of games won’t be announced by the NFL until May, New Orleans Saints’ 2025 opponents are set.
The schedule for each NFL is generated from a rotating formula of non-division opponents.
Next season the Saints will play their NFC South divisional games, square off with the NFC West and AFC East while playing the last place teams of the AFC South, NFC East and NFC North.
Saints 2025 Opponents
HOME
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Arizona Cardinals
- San Francisco 49ers
- New York Jets
- New England Patriots
- New York Giants
AWAY
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
- Buffalo Bills
- Miami Dolphins
- Chicago Bears
- Tennessee Titans
With this schedule, New Orleans will host just one 2024 playoff team and travel to play three on the road. They will also face only four teams that finished this year with winning records, one of which (the Buccaneers) they will face twice.
As for weather impact, Seattle, Buffalo, Chicago and Tennessee all possess the potential for inclement weather games. For these matchups, the earlier in the schedule the better for the Saints. New Orleans will travel to several major U.S. regions, making the diversity of environment, time zone and travel time all major factors.
Depending on what happens with the Giants and Titans coaching situations, the Saints could face numerous teams with new head coaches. The Jets, Patriots and Bears have all already opened their head coach role, much like the Saints. More could be on the way.
