Well, this one seems promising.

Unlike the previous interviews, which were all held at the Saints’ facility in Metairie, La., New Orleans traveled to Philadelphia to speak with Moore. This is a move that makes sense, being that Moore will already be traveling to New Orleans next week as the Eagles prepare for their Super Bowl matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs in the Big Easy. However, during that time, Moore will not be eligible for contact with outside teams.
The Saints brass may have been nice enough to save him an extra trip, but one has to imagine the team would love to see him make his way back to New Orleans again after the Super Bowl. Whether or not that happens hinges on the success of this in-person interview.
Interest from New Orleans is clear. The Saints could have hired one of their other candidates already, but have been waiting to include Moore in their search. That seems to indicate some serious consideration for the 36 year-old offensive mind.
One of the lingering curiosities around Moore is his leadership style. Whether or not he will be the type of head coach that has the ability to both connect with but also command his roster is something that will have to be assessed. New Orleans has made accountability a cornerstone of its culture and Moore would be in charge of demanding and maintaining that pillar.
New Orleans could be looking to add one more name to their head coach interview list in former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy. However, if McCarthy and the team do not meet, it could signal what’s ahead for the Saints and Moore.
If an offer between the two is made and accepted, they won’t make it official until after the Super Bowl.
