The 2025 Seattle Seahawks offense is slowly morphing into the New Orleans Saints offense from 2024.
After having hired offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko, and offensive line coach John Benton, the Seahawks have requested and have been granted permission to interview Rick Dennison, last year’s Saints’ senior offensive assistant.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Saints will allow the interview to take place, as the team will soon begin restaffing its coaching roster with new head coach Kellen Moore in the building.
Dennison has been a longtime member for Kubiak/Shanahan offensive systems. He also spent time with Benton even before the two teamed up again in New Orleans. Both coaches were members of the 2010-2013 Houston Texans’ staff under Klint Kubiak’s father, Gary Kubiak.
Dennison has been a part of three Super Bowl teams and has a reputation for helping to build success in the run game.
