Saints name inactives against Atlanta
09/29/2024
ATLANTA — It has been a tumultuous week for the New Orleans Saints as they juggled injuries and a shuffled offensive line. But it’s time to put all that behind them now and get ready to compete in their Week 4 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. What was known coming into this game was that the Saints would be without a few important starters like center Erik McCoy, right guard Cesar Ruiz and linebacker Demario Davis.
The team was also managing injuries at wide receiver with second-year wideout A.T. Perry ruled out with a hamstring issue and receivers Chris Olave and Cedrick Wilson Jr. each listed as questionable coming into this one. The expectation is that Olave will be able to go for the game, but the team looks like they will be light at receiver.
They elevated just one player from their practice squad: undrafted free agent rookie offensive lineman Kyle Hergel.
Here are the players the team has announced will be inactive in today’s game:
WR A.T. Perry (Hamstring)
QB Spencer Rattler (Third QB)
OL Cesar Ruiz (Knee)
LB Demario Davis (Hamstring)
TE Dallin Holker
DT John Ridgeway III
