Social Media Reacts: South Carolina upsets Texas A&M, 44-20

For the second time in three years, an SEC team came into Williams-Brice Stadium with a top ten ranking and college football playoff hopes. And for the second time in three years, an unranked South Carolina team humiliated them on national television.
The Gamecocks dominated Texas A&M with nearly 300 yards rushing and outscoring the Aggies 24-0 in the second half. South Carolina played their best and most complete game of the Shane Beamer era, scoring 44 points and racking up 530 yards of offense against the Aggies.
After a week of smug celebrations and online gloating from A&M fans, social media had a field day with the latest installment of Aggies underachieving. Here were some of our favorite tweets from after the game.

What a win for the gamecocks. They’ve been so close so many times this year, finally broke through. So happy for Beamer. pic.twitter.com/Vmdu9XPCtw

South Carolina putting it on Texas A&M. Huge win for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks. Everyone in the SEC has at least one conference loss now. Buckle up. Gonna be a wild November.

The Gamecocks have now rushed for 273 yards tonight, the most ever in a SEC game under Shane Beamer. Coming into tonight, Texas A&M was ranked No. 1 in the SEC in rushing defense.

Honestly it’s so equally promising and depressing to know this Gamecock team should be 7-1 and in playoff talk.
