Social Media Reacts: Texas outlasts ASU in double-overtime

By Chris Marler
The first five College Football Playoff games were all decided by double-digits, with the average margin of 19 points per game. The Peach Bowl finally delivered an entertaining matchup.
Texas beat Arizona State, 39-31, in double-overtime in what was an instant classic. Arizona State made a valiant comeback, scoring 16 fourth quarter points to tie the game at 24. In the end Texas punched their ticket to the semifinals in the Cotton Bowl with a huge win.
Afterwards social media reacted to the instant classic. Here are a few of our favorite tweets from the game.

Wait. They started the Rose Bowl BEFORE that classic Peach Bowl ended? College football doesn't need a commissioner. It needs at least one semi-intelligent adult in the room.

Texas Football has zero regard for my liver or mental health, but I love them anyways.

If you do nothing else today, watch this.
4th & 13, potentially the last pass of Quinn Ewers college career and last play of Texas’ football season.
The details. The poise. The execution. Flawless.#AchoAnalysis | #TexasFootball pic.twitter.com/czzOhVk2qe
