Alabama hosted South Carolina earlier today for a brunch time kick after losing to Vanderbilt last Saturday. Everyone that expected Alabama to rebound from last week’s historic upset to Vanderbilt, got a much different experience.
Alabama did absolutely everything they could to lose against the Gamecocks. However, despite their best efforts, South Carolina didn’t allow that to happen.
Alabama escaped with a 27-25 win at home in a game that saw them blow a 14-0 lead, be outgained by one of the worst offenses in the SEC, and fumble an onside kick with 40 seconds left in a play where they had three linebackers on the “hands” team.
