South Carolina bolstered its secondary Monday when NC State cornerback Brandon Cisse announced his transfer to the Gamecocks. The former three-star recruit played in 22 games over two seasons with the Wolfpack and has two years of eligibility remaining.
After playing in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2023, a wrist injury cost Cisse three games as a sophomore. In his nine games this season, Cisse recorded 28 tackles and five passes defensed.
Cisse prepped at Sumter (S.C.) Lakewood High and visited Florida and Ole Miss before picking his home state Gamecocks. He is the twelfth transfer commitment for Shane Beamer’s squad, which is ranked No. 15 among transfer portal classes.
