Tamarcus Cooley to visit LSU among others

An ex-North Carolina State defensive back is touring the SEC this week.
According to 247sports’ Matt Zenitz, Tamarcus Cooley will visit Ole Miss, LSU, Missouri and Kentucky over the coming days.
Ex-NC State standout cornerback Tamarcus Cooley plans to visit Ole Miss today and tomorrow, LSU Thursday, Missouri Friday and Kentucky Saturday, his agency @bzsportsmgmt tells @chris_hummer and me.

Cooley redshirted in 2023 at Maryland before transferring to NC State. He made 30 tackles, notched a sack and had three interceptions in 2024.
He’s listed at 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds. Much of the season he played the nickel spot in the NC State defense.
As a recruit, Cooley was a consensus 3-star prospect and ranked as the No. 2 defensive back in North Carolina.
