Ten SEC teams ranked in latest AP Poll

The latest AP Men’s Top 25 Poll has been released, and just like football season it is littered with SEC teams throughout.
There was no change at the top with Tenenssee and Auburn manning the top two positions. Behind them, Alabama and Florida both moved up one to Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. Kentucky dropped to No. 10, but the SEC still occupies half of the top ten spots.
Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Ole Miss maintained their positions inside the top 20 while two new teams broke into the top 25 as well. Arkansas and Mississippi State entered the fold at Nos. 23 and No. 19 with Mississippi State making the biggest splash after their win over Memphis.
Some prognosticators think the league could get as many as 13 teams in the NCAA tournament. Joe Lunardi of ESPN currently has 11 teams from the league getting into the Big Dance.
