Texas A&M RB Moss out for season

Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury suffered in Saturday’s loss at South Carolina. Aggies head coach Mike Elko announced the news Monday.
Moss is currently third in the SEC with 765 rushing yards. The junior from Walker, La., was averaging 5.6 yards per carry and has ten rushing touchdowns on the season. Texas A&M is without its other veteran running back Rueben Owens, who was also lost for the season to injury. Amari Daniels and EJ Smith are the only two scholarship running backs left of the roster. Freshman Terry Bussey will get work at running back also, Elko said.
Texas A&M (7-2, 5-1) suffered it’s first SEC loss of the season at the hands of the Gamecocks. The Aggies host New Mexico State this Saturday at Kyle Field.
