Texas A&M wide receiver Micah Hudson has stepped away from the football team less than a month after joining the team.
This is according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos.
Posted within the @TexAgs forum with plenty of detail but, as always, @PeteNakos_ is on point.
Aggies will have a spot for Micah should he choose to return to football activities. https://t.co/7J44ZvyoZ4

Hudson was a five-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle and the No. 12 player in the country out of high school. He was also the fourth ranked wide receiver prospect in the class behind freshman phenoms in Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, Auburn’s Cam Coleman and Alabama’s Ryan Williams.
He played in eight games during his freshman season at Texas Tech but only recorded eight catches for 123 yards. He entered the transfer portal in December and was ranked the No. 7 player in the December portal window. The Aggies currently have a top ten class in the portal with Hudson.
He still has three years of eligibility remaining if he decides to return to the team.
