Texas WR Matthew Golden declares for NFL Draft

Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden will reportedly declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Golden led the Longhorns this season with 987 yards receiving and nine touchdowns and was second on the team in receptions with 58. He transferred to Texas from Houston, where he played for two years prior to joining the Longhorns. He also returned kicks for the Cougars, averaging 25.8 yards per kick and two touchdowns.
He is projected to be a day two draft pick. The 2025 NFL Draft will be held on April 24-26 in Green Bay.
