Three Tigers named preseason First Team All-SEC by coaches

Jared Jones, Kade Anderson and Gavin Guidry were named First Team All-SEC by the league’s coaches on Wednesday.
Jones hit 28 home runs last year and was the coaches’ pick at first base. Guidry and Anderson are expected to shoulder important workloads on the mound for the Tigers this spring.
Second baseman Daniel Dickinson nabbed second team honors as he transitions from Utah Valley to the SEC.
Texas A&M took the top spot in the SEC baseball coaches’ preseason poll.
LSU came in at No. 4.
The Aggies got 10 of the 16 first place votes, 10 of 15 when you consider the Mike Earley is not allowed to vote for his team at the top. Tennessee, Florida and LSU each got a first-place vote, and Arkansas got the other three.
Tennessee, Arkansas, LSU and Florida rounded out the top five behind Texas A&M.
