UAB transfer DB Adrian Maddox flips commitment from Florida to Georgia

Georgia secured its second commitment for the 2025 secondary on the same day. Former UAB defensive back and Florida commit Adrian Maddox flipped his commitment from the Gators to the Bulldogs.
Maddox, originally from Conyers, Georgia, less than an hour from Athens, entered the transfer portal during the December window and initially committed to Florida. Two days later, he changed his mind and opted to join Kirby Smart’s program.

Maddox played three seasons at Alabama State and UAB, recording 114 tackles, three interceptions, three sacks, and 15 pass deflections. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
