USA RB Bothwell commits to Mississippi State

Jeff Lebby and Mississippi State have landed one of the most coveted offensive weapons in the transfer portal. South Alabama true freshman running back Fluff Bothwell has committed to play for the Bulldogs.
Bothwell finished his freshman season in Mobile with over 800 yards rushing, averaging 7.5 yards per carry, and 13 touchdowns.
Bothwell was a three-star recruit out of high school and the No. 99 ranked running back in the 2024 recruiting class. However, after his stellar freshman season, he was ranked as the No. 3 back in the transfer portal.
Bothwell becomes the 15th transfer commitment for Mississippi State, giving them the fifth-ranked portal class according to 247Sports.
