USC’s Shane Beamer updates health of Jared Brown, DeAndre Jules

Following a bye week, South Carolina is gearing up for their final five-game stretch of the regular season.
That stretch begins Saturday with a home game against Texas A&M.
Earlier today, head coach Shane Beamer gave an update on some key injuries facing the Gamecock before Saturday.
“We’re in pretty good shape from a health standpoint,” Beamer said. “Jared Brown will be back this week. (DeAndre) Jules probably won’t be. But other than that, we’re in great shape. We’re healthier, we’re more experienced.”
Brown is a former three-star recruit from Lilburn, Ga., powerhouse Parkview High School who transferred into South Carolina this past offseason from Coastal Carolina. In three seasons with the Chanticleers, Brown totaled nearly 2,000 yards of total offense and 13 touchdowns. This season he has only played in four games while compiling 130 total yards.
DeAndre Jules, a senior defensive tackle, racked up 13 tackles on the season while also blocking a kick on special teams.
South Carolina plays host to Texas A&M this Saturday night at 6:30 PM CST.
