As the Philadelphia Eagles were threatening to take an early lead, the Saints veteran safety intercepted Jalen Hurts in the end zone on a third down pass intended for Devonta Smith.

The pick helped the Saints maintain a 3-0 lead. For Mathieu, that is his third takeaway in as many games.
