Week 12 PFF SEC QB Rankings

By Chris Marler
Pro Football Focus has released their post-Week 12 grades for SEC quarterbacks for the 2024 season. Here’s how each quarterback graded out after another crazy weekend of college football and where they ranked nationally.
Jaxson Dart enjoyed the bye week and maintained his top overall spot in the conference and top five national ranking. He’s been there almost every week of the season. The shuffling we’ve seen behind him is what continues to be interesting.
The Nos. 2 through No. 4 spots have been occupied by some combination of Diego Pavia, Jalen Milroe, and Taylen Green. This week it’s Milroe who takes over the No. 2 ranking after his three touchdown performance against Mercer.
Elsewhere, the players who saw the most significant changes were Carson Beck climbing back up into the top five after piling up 379 yards of total offense and three touchdowns against a stout Tennessee defense. DJ Lagway and Brady Cook re-entered the rankings after missing last week due to injury. Both Lagway and Cook had impressive performances in big conference games despite being underdogs to ranked opponents.
Lastly, if there was ever a gripe to be had with these rankings it would start and stop with LaNorris Sellers. Last week, Sellers was ranked No. 13 among SEC quarterbacks with a grade of 62.3. Sellers accounted for 398 yards of offense and five touchdowns against a Missouri defense that ranked top ten nationally in yards allowed. He also led the Gamecocks to a 70-yard game winning scoring drive with less than a minute to play and has scored 13 total touchdowns to just two interceptions over his last five games.
He dropped to No. 14 overall in the SEC. Make it make sense.
