This past Saturday’s slate of games was good, but the October 19th slate may be even better. We get two SEC matchups featuring top 11 teams and several others that should be very competitive.
Last week was considered the best weekend of the season for marquee games. However, six of the seven SEC games had double-digit point spreads. Not only does this week have a top five showdown in Austin and basically a top ten showdown in Knoxville, it also features six games where a team is favored by less than a touchdown.
Circa Sports has released the initial betting lines for all eight SEC games this weekend. Some things that stand out most include LSU being just a one point favorite on the road at Arkansas and Alabama being favored on the road at Tennessee after their narrow escape of South Carolina. Florida is favored against Kentucky, just the second time they’ve been favored against an FBS opponent all season.
