Whit Weeks carted off in the first half of Texas Bowl

Whit Weeks will not return to the Kinder’s Texas Bowl for LSU.
The sophomore linebacker was carted off the field in an air cast with 1:41 to play in the first half. The training staff was evaluating his right foot and ankle area.
The injury came as a result of Weeks being rolled up on at the line of scrimmage as Baylor’s Dawson Pendergrass scored for the Bears.
Weeks leads the Tigers in tackles this season and ranks tied for second in the SEC with 125.
His older brother, West, figures to join Gregg Penn and freshman Davhon Keys for the remainder of the game.
