The New Orleans Saints have brought back former LSU offensive lineman Will Clapp on a one-year deal, adding experienced depth to their offensive line. Clapp, a seventh-round pick in 2018, has played in 32 games since leaving New Orleans for the Chargers and Bills.
“Will Clapp is a very capable pro that you’re going to get on the cheap for a year,” Off the Bench hosts noted. He’s expected to be the backup center and provide versatility across the line.
The Saints also signed cornerback Isaac Yiadom to a three-year, $9 million deal with $4.8 million guaranteed. He returns to New Orleans after spending last season with the 49ers and could compete for a starting spot.
“These aren’t groundbreaking signings, but they make the Saints better at a reasonable price,” the hosts emphasized.
