Naz Reid didn’t get drafted. He’s getting paid.
The former Tiger has agreed to terms on a five-year, $125 million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves according to Shams Charania of ESPN..
The 6-foot-9 forward has played six years for Minnesota and has never started 20 games in season for the team. The Asbury Park, N.J., native has proven himself as a reliable option off the bench. He’s averaged double figures in four of the last five years including a high of 14.2 ppg this past season.
Reid has shot better than 38 percent from three-point range the last two years and is a 73 percent free throw shooter.
