Two former Tigers make Madden’s “99 Club”

As NFL training camps hit stride, Madden NFL 26 released it 2026 “99 Club”.

Two former Tigers made the cut.

Both Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase will be rated 99 Overall on the game, joining Lamar Jackson, Lane Johnson, Josh Allen and Myles Garrett in the exclusive club.

Jefferson and Chase starred on the 2019 national championship team at LSU and have blossomed into NFL stars.

Chase won the triple crown last season, leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Jefferson finished second in yards. They were both named 1st team All-Pro.

Chase was the 2021 NFL Rookie of the Year, and Jefferson won NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2022.

Jefferson became the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history when he signed a four-year, $140 million contract with Minnesota last summer.  Chase bested that in March when he got $161 million over four years.

Madden will be available to gamers beginning August 7.
