A five-star prospect is going to miss fall camp.
Offensive lineman Solomon Thomas broke his fifth metatarsal and will miss “a month” according to LSU head coach Brian Kelly.
Brian Kelly confirmed to me freshman OL Solomon Thomas broke his fifth metatarsal in his foot and is out for a month. Everyone else is a “go.”@1045espn @LASportsDotNet

Thomas arrived at LSU for spring practice and made an impression on the LSU staff which is aiming to replace four of five starters on the offensive line.
Thomas is a 6-foot-4, 335 lbs. product of Jacksonville who was ranked a top five interior offensive lineman in his class by every recruiting service. The injury’s timeline means Thomas won’t return until the regular season starts which will be a huge setback toward his potential contribution to the 2025 team.
