The practice is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park and will be closed to the public.
This comes about after the Saints surprisingly did not schedule a joint practice session with the Los Angeles Chargers, which was initially expected. Instead, the Chargers and Rams were set to hold their own combined practices, but the Chargers had to withdraw with injury concerns.
That left the Rams open to doing business.
Rams head coach Sean McVay mentioned the team potentially trying to work out an arrangement with the Saints after the original plans with the Chargers fell through.

When asked after last weekend’s preseason game, Saints head coach Kellen Moore confirmed that conversations were ongoing.
“We’re working through that process right now,” Moore said. “ … We’re coming out of this game with the medical aspect and we’ll see where we’re at.”
Those arrangements are now set and the Saints and Rams will square off for joint practices on Thursday afternoon.
These dual-team endeavors are often a great barometer for clubs while maintaining a controlled, non-contact environment. With New Orleans hosting a quarterback battle, this will add a new layer to what is already a pivotal week in the competition.
